Caffè Kix, the office cafe operator offers
customers a range of food and drinks, but great
coffee is at the heart of our service.
Firstly, we make sure
our coffee is sourced ethically. Fairtrade
is a good starting point, but we as an workplace cafe operator don’t think
it goes far enough. Our blend is certified
by the Rainforest
Alliance,
which means that for each coffee sold, our
third world producer gets a better deal.
This is thanks to a direct relationship with
the UK roaster - cutting out the export agents
in the country of origin, as well as shippers
and UK import agents.
We also pride ourselves on offering great
quality and taste. At Caffè Kix, the office cafe operator we use a
medium-dark Italian roast blend that includes
Arabica coffees from around the world. It
contains single-origin coffee from India,
and coffees from Brazil, Central America,
Ethiopia and Indonesia.
And finally, our coffee
is prepared by fully-trained
office cafe baristas, making sure the great flavours
in the beans are preserved for customers
to enjoy.
